Elka Atanasova

Elka Atanasova joined the IMF AFRITAC SOUTH team as a Real Sector Statistics Advisor on March 29, 2021. Before joining AFS, she worked for over 20 years in the National statistical Institute of Bulgaria. Her experience is in ralation to Macro-economic statistics mainly in the field of National Accounts production.
She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of national and world economy, Bulgaria and Doctor’s degree in statistics and demography frm the Academy of economics D.A.Tsenov, Bulgaria.
