Benjamin Alexander Stephanou
Financial Sector Supervision
Benjamin Stefanou is currently the Financial Sector Supervision Advisor for the IMF’s Pacific Financial Technical Assistance Centre (PFTAC) in Fiji, with responsibility for delivering the IMF’s financial sector supervision capacity development for 13 PFTAC member countries across the Pacific. Prior to joining PFTAC in August 2016, Benjamin spent three years as the IMF Banking Supervision Advisor for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. Benjamin has worked in commercial banking in Australia and with the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in banking, insurance and superannuation supervision.
